Smokeless Tobacco

Smokeless Tobacco, also called dip, chewing tobacco, a pinch, a chew, etc., smokeless tobacco contains the same addictive chemicals and additives (e.g., nicotine) as cigarettes and therefore is highly addictive.

It is processed with as much sugar as you’ll find in candy. It causes brown stains on teeth, bad breath, tooth decay, receding gums, wearing away of the enamel and dentin, gum disease which leads to infection and loss of bone around teeth.

It is not uncommon for smokeless tobacco users to develop mouth sores. For every one out of 25 users, the sore can become cancerous.

In addition, smokeless tobacco can lead to other health problems such as stomach ulcers, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, clogged arteries, and stroke.
